Victoria Tormo (Ph.D. in Physics in 2019, by the Autonomous University of Madrid, Spain) worked for several years at different academic institutions: UAM, UPM and CSIC. Her experience is focused on optical materials and different material fabrication techniques, as well as scientific and innovation management. Currently, she is working on the electro-optical sensors department of Indra and collaborates in scientific forums in defense, such as the Optronics Capability Technnology Group (Captech) of EDA.

Carlos García Meca obtained the Telecommunication Engineering degree in 2007, an MEng In Communication Technologies, Systems and Networks in 2008 and a PhD in Telecommunication in 2012, all from the Polytechnic University of Valencia. Since then, he has carried out deep-tech research both in academia and industry. In 2024, he obtained an MSc in Quantum Technologies from CSIC. He is currently a Technical Senior Manager at Indra’s Innovation Center. His research interests include metasurfaces, photonic integrated circuits, quantum technologies, optical communications, deep learning, and reconfigurable and time-varying electromagnetic materials and devices
